Product Overview

Atlas Single Skin Heating Oil Tanks are designed primarily for installation at domestic premises where a bunded tank is not required or for installation within a suitably bunded area. Every Atlas oil tank is manufactured in the UK from premium quality, UV stabilised, Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE), and is supplied complete with Oil Watchman electronic oil tank level monitor, SpillStop fuel tank overfill prevention valve and bottom outlet oil tank fitting kit as standard.

Rotationally moulded Single Skin Heating Oil Tank supplied complete with:

  • 2” BSP Fill Point with Screw Cap and Chain
  • 4” Inspection Point with Screw Cap
  • 2” Vent
  • Watchman Sonic Advanced Oil Tank Level Monitor
  • Bottom Outlet Fitting kit
  • 1” BSP Coated Mild Steel Outlet

Applications

Single Skin Plastic Heating Oil Tank suitable for the storage of Heating Oil (Kerosene) at static oil storage installations where a Bunded Tank is not required, or for installation within a suitably bunded area.

Please be aware Atlas Single Skin Heating Oil Tanks are unsuitable for the storage of fuel for supply to vehicles and / or plant equipment via gravity fed fuel delivery systems incorporating a flexible hose and trigger nozzle.

Important Information

Please note, prior to the installation of any Single Skin Heating Oil Tank, a Risk Assessment must be undertaken by an OFTEC Registered Technician or similarly competent person. The installation of a Single Skin Oil Tank at an installation where a Bunded Oil Tank is required, may result in non-compliance with fuel storage regulations and constitute a criminal offence.

Please note that all Atlas oil tanks should only be installed by a suitably competent person in accordance with supplied instructions and prevailing statutory requirements. Please see guides under downloads tab for more information.

Please contact us for return details within 14 days of receiving your item. Returns should be unused, and suitable for resale.

Please be aware that returning a tank can be expensive. Please double check you have ordered the correct product. If in doubt please contact us before placing your order.

Free UK Delivery to most UK mainland address, excluding offshore locations and subject to access for an articulated lorry. If access to your premises is restricted please advise at time of order placement.

Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for the tank to be offloaded from the delivery vehicle to the customer’s premises. Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery.
