Terms and Conditions of Trade

1.01 Acceptance

By ordering from this site, you agree to these terms, otherwise you must immediately desist from ordering products from TankDepot.co.uk.

TankDepot.co.uk reserves the right, at any time to modify, alter or update these terms of trade and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations or updates on subsequent visits to this site.

The terms and condition herein are enforceable under United Kingdom: English law.

1.02 Order Acceptance

Your order is deemed to have been accepted by TankDepot.co.uk when payment for your order has been received by TankDepot.co.uk.

1.03 Pricing

All prices stated are for new products and will be invoiced in United Kingdom Sterling (UK£/GBP) inclusive of United Kingdom Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate. All prices stated include delivery to any address in Great Britain, excluding offshore locations and subject to adequate vehicular access. Additionally, selected products are also available to customers in Northern Ireland, with the exception of offshore locations and subject to adequate vehicular access. We do not deliver products to addresses in the Isle of Man, Channel Islands, the Republic of Ireland or any location outside the British Isles.

1.04 Delivery

TankDepot.co.uk undertakes to attempt to fulfil all orders within a maximum of 28 working days of order acceptance, unless advised otherwise.

In the event that any order is delayed, TankDepot.co.uk will not be responsible for any consequential loss or damage that this delay may cause. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate vehicular access and the provision of suitable offloading equipment, where required.

1.05 Accuracy

TankDepot.co.uk has undertaken every reasonable endeavour to accurately detail all product descriptions, images and specifications. However, inaccuracies and errors may still occur. All capacities and dimensions stated are approximate and may be subject to change without notice. All images are for illustration only. The right is reserved to amend product specification without notice.

Please note that in the event of an incorrect price or product specification being published on the TankDepot.co.uk website, TankDepot.co.uk is not obliged to fulfil any orders placed at the incorrect price or supply products to fulfil an incorrect product specification.

1.06 Guarantee

All items are guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months. Where longer guarantee periods may apply, these are provided at the discretion of the product manufacturer and not TankDepot.co.uk

1.07 Order Cancellation

In accordance with United Kingdom and European law, customers have an unconditional right to cancel an order from TankDepot.co.uk, from the time the order is accepted by TankDepot.co.uk until 7 working days after the order is fulfilled.

If a customer wishes to cancel an order with TankDepot.co.uk, they must contact TankDepot.co.uk within the period outlined above to make arrangements for the goods to be returned.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that good care is taken of the goods whilst in their possession and that they are returned to TankDepot.co.uk in a condition whereby they are fit for resale and are unused.

Where TankDepot.co.uk organises to collect and return a product on behalf of a customer, carriage will be invoiced at cost.

1.08 Defective Products

If you believe that products you have purchased from TankDepot.co.uk are defective at any time please report this immediately to TankDepot.co.uk.

If they are within the manufacturer’s guarantee period, we will arrange with the manufacturer to replace or repair the goods at the manufacturer’s discretion and consistent with the terms and conditions specified by their guarantee.

Where it is necessary to inspect the goods on site and an inspection proves the fault is neither the fault of TankDepot.co.uk nor the product manufacturer, an inspection charge will apply, which will be borne by the customer. At no time will TankDepot.co.uk be responsible for any consequential damage or loss as a result of product defect(s).

1.09 Installation

The customer agrees that all products purchase from TankDepot.co.uk will be installed and maintained only by a competent person in accordance with all prevailing statutory requirements and supplied product instructions.

Additionally, and with specific reference to oil storage tanks and allied equipment, the customer agrees that all installation and maintenance work will be undertaken in accordance with the requirements of The Oil Firing Technical Association.

All electrical connections must only be undertaken and must be maintained by a suitably qualified electrician, in accordance with statutory requirements.

TankDepot.co.uk will not be responsible for installations which fail to comply with these requirements.

1.11 Statutory Rights

The terms and conditions herein do not affect your statutory rights. These are governed by and construed in accordance with United Kingdom: English law. If any of the conditions contained herein is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
