Product Overview 

Manufactured in the UK by J. Seed & Co., Ltd., TankDepot.co.uk’s range of Steel Bunded Tanks are ideal for the small number of domestic and residential oil storage installations where a robust, heavy duty storage solution is required.

Each Steel Bunded Tank is made to order by this third generation metal tank manufacturer at their workshop near Preston, Lancashire. All tanks are fabricated only from premium quality grades of steel, selected especially for their resistance to fuel oil. To exceed the exacting demands of TankDepot.co.uk customers, all Steel Bunded Tanks supplied by J Seed are hand welded and thoroughly tested and inspected prior to despatch.

All Steel Bunded Tanks supplied by TankDepot.co.uk have been engineered from the outset to comply with or exceed all applicable requirements, including UK and European technical and environmental requirements.

•    2” BSP Fill Point c/w Cap
•    Integral, weatherproof Vent
•    Sludge / Condensate Top Offtake Drain Off Points
•    Lockable, calibrated Dipstick for Inner Tank and Bund
•    Internally stiffened Inner Tank and Bund
•    Forest Green Finish with other colours available at additional cost and upon request
•    100mm x 50mm Welded Channel on Base to facilitate air movement and access
•    1” BSP dia. Bottom Outlet

Applications
 
Bunded Oil Tank suitable for the above ground storage of Heating Oil at single family dwellings, agricultural, commercial, industrial and institutional premises.
 
Every Bunded Oil Tank supplied by TankDepot.co.uk is fully compliant is fully compliant with all applicable requirements contained within The Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) (England) Regulations 2001, The Water Environment (Oil Storage) (Scotland) Regulations 2006, The Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010, The Control of Pollution (Silage, Slurry and Agricultural Fuel Oil) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003, The Control of Pollution (Silage, Slurry and Agricultural Fuel Oil) Regulations 1991 and comparable requirements throughout the United Kingdom.
 
Unsuitable for the storage of fuel for supply to vehicles and / or plant equipment via gravity fed fuel delivery systems incorporating a flexible hose and trigger nozzle.
 
Installation Requirements
 
Please note that all Bunded Tanks should only be installed by a suitably competent person in accordance with supplied instructions and prevailing statutory requirements.
 
Delivery and Payment
 
Please note that all Metal Bunded Tanks supplied by TankDepot.co.uk are produced on a made to order basis. Price(s) stated are inclusive of delivery to any address in Great Britain, excluding offshore locations and subject to access for an articulated lorry. If access to your premises is restricted please advise at time of order placement.
 
Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for the tank to be offloaded from the delivery vehicle to the customer’s premises. Please allow up to 28 working days for delivery in England, lowland Scotland and Wales and up to 42 working days for delivery in highland and remote areas of Scotland. Regretfully, this product is not currently available for supply to customers in Northern Ireland or any other offshore location.
