New appointments strengthen the Harlequin team

As part of Harlequin Oil Tanks' commitment to strengthening its position in the Republic of Ireland market, the company has announced the appointment of Paul Maguire as Area Sales Manager.

Reporting to Harlequin's Business Development Manager Porick Murray, Paul comes from a strong technical sales background and will be responsible for the provision of sales support to Harlequin customers across the Irish Republic, with the exception of Co. Donegall. Paul's colleague and current Northern Ireland and Isle of Man Area Sales Manager Sam McClurken, will now take on additional responsibility for supporting Harlequin customers in Donegall.

Commenting upon Paul's appointment, Harlequin's Sales & Marketing Manager, John Switzer said, “I am delighted to welcome Paul to the Harlequin team and am confident he will play an important role in supporting our customers in the Republic of Ireland. Paul's appointment is fully consistent with our commitment to providing Harlequin customers with unsurpassed levels of sales support across all markets in which our business trades.”

Separately, and Harlequin has announced another important appointment with David Cather being appointed as Business Development Executive, via a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with The Queen's University of Belfast. David who is a recent Queen's graduate, will be primarily responsible for identifying and commercialising new product and new market opportunities.
