Titan promising plenty at FPS2007
7th March 2007
Market-leading tank manufacturer, Titan, is looking forward to this year’s Federation of Petroleum Suppliers’ Exhibition (FPS) at Telford International Centre on April 18 and 19, and the chance to showcase a host of new products and ideas.
Whilst the industry-standard range of Ecosafe bunded oil tanks and Fuelmaster diesel dispensing tanks will feature strongly, Titan will also be using this year’s event to show off some radical examples of the direction in which the company intends to move over the next few years.
Marketing Director, Mark Brookes, says “The FPS is the ideal forum to look to the future and whilst acknowledging everything that Titan has achieved in the last 20 years, we need to shout a little more about the innovations emerging from the company today.”
At the top of the list is the brand new TruckMaster product, something that Titan sees as the next big thing in fuel and lubricant storage and dispensing. Truckmaster is a fully ADR-approved mobile dispensing tank designed for the construction, hire and agricultural industries. Already launched into the French and Scandinavian markets, the Truckmaster signals Titan’s desire to take its product range into new areas.
Adblue again features on Titan’s stand for the third successive year. Only three years ago, Titan was the first manufacturer to enter into this complex market, and now, with Adblue a reality for transport companies in the UK and Ireland, Titan’s extensive range of Bluetank solutions is the clear market leader, with most large Ablue installation sites in the UK using its products.
Another hot topic will be Biodiesel and as with Adblue storage, Titan has taken the higher ground and launched a range of specialised Biodiesel storage and dispensing products. The Titan BioMaster range on display will include the new BioMaster30 system.
“Biodiesel is unlike other fuels in a number of ways”, says Mark Brookes. “Titan has looked very seriously at the issues surrounding Biodiesel and our new BioMaster range is a specialised product. We have produced a Biodiesel storage and dispensing tank that is designed for the job, not gone down the easy route of using an almost standard tank.”
Titan’s recently established Accredited Installer Network will be using the FPS event to stage its next conference. Working alongside the new OilAssure initiative, the Accredited Installer Network is made up of the biggest OFTEC-registered tank installers in the UK. All 20 companies will attend the meeting in Telford during the exhibition.
