New Year, New Home for The Federation of Petroleum Suppliers
1st January 2007
The Federation of Petroleum Suppliers (FPS) has recently moved to new premises in Knutsford, Cheshire. Since 20 December 2006, the Federation departed its former premises at Slaters’ Court in the town for a new home off the town’s Tatton Street.
The new address for all correspondence is now:
6 Royal Court
Telephone, fax, web and e-mail contact details remain unchanged.
Best known perhaps for the annual FPS Annual Conference and Exhibition, the Federation was established over 25 years ago and represents the interests of the downstream oil distribution sector throughout the British Isles.
Membership is organised on a geographical basis with regional meetings, and governance is through Council, to which each region nominates a representative.
The FPS offers support and a voice for the oil distributor at government level to try to ensure a fair deal for the industry as well as enabling distributors to meet and discuss current issues.
The FPS also encourages self-regulation of the industry through raised standards and encourages best practice.
TankDepot.co.uk recognises the important role the Federation plays within the industry and wishes the FPS team every success in their new offices.
