Save Your Customers Up To 300 On An Oil Heating Installation!

3rd August 2006
With winter just around the corner why not get your customers 300 towards the cost of a new central heating system? If you're an OFTEC Registered Technician you can join the Government's new 300 Heating Rebate Scheme and offer money off the cost of a new or replacement central heating system.

The scheme is available to all householders over the age of 60 who own or privately rent their home and do not have an operable heating system. The 300 rebate is for those not eligible for funding under the Warm Front Grant. Customers who qualify for funding will only be permitted to use specific registered installers, which provides an excellent opportunity to drum up new business. Under the Warm Front Grant over 2,000 heating systems were installed in 2004/2005.

Householders will apply for the 300 grant via Eaga Partnership's Contact Centre. Successful applicants will receive a voucher/claim form and a letter detailing 6 Registered Technicians working in their geographical area.

Within 3 months the householder must contact their chosen installer directly and cost and date of installation is agreed between the two. After installation the client will sign the voucher/claim form and hand it to the installer. Eaga then pays the installer 250 within 30 days via BACS on receipt of the voucher/claim form, client signature and invoice. 50 is withheld for administration fees.

Eaga will carry out verifications on a proportion of installations, to check measures have been completed to the customer's satisfaction.

OFTEC installers are invited to register for the scheme via the Eaga website. Simply click the link below and enter your details. Then complete and approve the required documents and you could be saving your customers money in no time!
