Carbery's Success Recognised By Town Council

9th March 2013 supplier Carbery Plastics Limited, has been recognised at an awards ceremony hosted by the local town council. The company was nominated for a 'Spirit of Clonakilty' Award by local councillor Cionnaith Ó Súilleabháin.

The award recognises Carbery's contribution to the local economy, continued commitment to innovation and sales success in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe. The prestigious award was presented to Carbery's Jill Turner by Cllr. John Loughnan, at a ceremony held recently in O'Donovan's Hotel in the West Cork town, on the Republic of Ireland's southern seaboard.

Speaking at the ceremony, Jill said, "I am delighted to receive this prestigious award on behalf of everyone at Carbery. It recognises the contribution and commitment of the entire Carbery team to the continued growth and success of our business. Despite a challenging macro economic environment, Carbery continues to invest in its production processes and products, ensuring the company is positioned to capitalise upon the market opportunities of the present and the future."

Based in the Clogheen area of the town, Carbery is one of the largest independent plastic molders in Ireland and a leading supplier of heating oil tanks and bunded fuel tanks to The company produces a wide range of rotationally moulded products including fuel oil tanks, water storage tanks, recycling containers and composters, for sale within Ireland and for export to Northern Ireland, Great Britain and mainland Europe.
