OFTEC Confirms 2007 UK Oil Heating Show Details
15th December 2006
The Oil Firing Technical Association has confirmed next year's series of Oil Heating Shows which sees OFTEC and supporting members, travelling the length and breadth of the British Isles promoting the importance of environmentally responsible oil heating, cooking and storage.
The 2007 UK Oil Heating Shows build upon the success of this year's events, kicking off on the South Coast in Kent in February, before heading cross country to North West England and North Wales in May. In June, its the turn of Belfast to welcome OFTEC to the City, before OFTEC and supporting members travel back across the Irish Sea to Yorkshire in September. The final UK Oil Heating Show of 2007 is set for Cambridge in November.
Surprisingly, there are no Oil Heating Shows planned for Scotland - despite Scotland having one of the highest prevelences of oil heating anywhere in the British Isles.
However, for the third year in succession, OFTEC does return to the Republic of Ireland, with an Oil Heating Show set for Dublin in September - a slightly surprising choice perhaps, given the poor attendance at the 2006 Dublin show.
Final details of times and locations will be published early in the New Year. For further information and to register, visit the OFTEC website.
