Apollo Smart Tank Contents Gauge and Heating Oil Energy MonitorDunraven Systems has announced the introduction of free, software updates for owners of the company's Apollo Smart Heating Oil Energy Monitor.

Gerry Jones, Managing Director of Dunraven Systems Limited, says "As a customer focused, market driven business, we are fully committed to a process of continuous product improvement and development. However, there's nothing worse than buying technology today, only to find it's out of date tomorrow. That's why Apollo Smart customers can be assured that no matter when they purchase their Apollo Smart, it can always be running the very latest device software."

"Downloading software updates for the Apollo Smart, couldn't be easier. Simply download and install the software update and device drivers from the Apollo website, plug in the Apollo Smart's USB cable to your desktop or laptop and the software will be installed in minutes... with no further user intervention required." explains Gerry.

Previewed at last year's FPS EXPO and launched in October, Apollo Smart allows heating oil consumers to monitor heating oil consumption, fuel costs and CO2 emissions on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.

The world's first heating oil energy monitor, Apollo Smart cleverly incorporates an oil tank contents gauge function, displaying the volume of fuel remaining inside the customer's tank in litres. To reduce the risk of running out of heating oil, Apollo Smart users also benefit from a unique 'Days to Empty' function and inbuilt audible and visual low level warning alarms.

Apollo Smart is available online from Apollo Approved Online Resellers including TankDepot.co.uk.
