OFTEC Launches Evening Seminar Programmes for UK Technicians

4th October 2011
The Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC) has confirmed details of a series of evening seminars to be held at Approved Training Centres throughout the UK over the coming months.

Starting at 5pm, the purpose of the seminars is to inform OFTEC Registered Technicians of new regulations and technical developments in the UK's oil heating, cooking and fuel storage industry. There'll be a great opportunity to ask what OFTEC is doing to look after the interests of Registered Technicians and the wider oil heating industry in the UK, a free buffet... as well as the opportunity to hear from an OFTEC manufacturing member.

The seminars commence in November and conclude in May, with OFTEC representatives traveling the length and breadth of the country. Dates and venues include:
  • 15th November 2011 - Paisley & Johnstone Training, Johnstone, Renfrewshire
  • 8th December 2011 - Steve Willis Training Ltd, Burgess Hill, Sussex
  • 8th February 2012 - South East Regional College (SERC), Newtownards, Co. Down
  • 26th April 2012 - Coleg Menai, Bangor, Gwynedd
