3rd May 2011
The first OFTEC Live event will be held on 18th May at the East of England Showground in Peterborough. Entry to the event is free and according to organisers OFTEC, it's a great opportunity for anyone working in the oil heating sector to see the latest product developments from manufacturers whilst catching up with legislation and best practice tips from The Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC).
The free seminar programme includes sessions on changes to the building regulations over the last 12 months, featuring the introduction of Two Heating Zones (Part L), Special Groundwater Protection Zones for Oil Tanks, and the implications of the removal of the upper limit for commercial boiler installations. Other seminars will cover hints on servicing and the future for oil heating and cooking in the renewable technology environment.
The show will be open from 11am to 7pm. Exhibitors will include TankDepot.co.uk fuel tank suppliers Harlequin Oil Tanks and Kingspan Environmental, together with ABGO, Anglo Nordic, Anton Industrial, Danfoss, Firebird, Grant, Heating World of Spares,  Riello, Testo, Trade Direct and Worcester Bosch.
