Watchman Sonic Electronic Oil Tank Contents GaugeLeading oil tank supplier TankDepot.co.uk has launched the all-new Watchman Sonic electronic oil tank contents gauge.

The first in a new generation of Watchman’s from Kingspan Environmental, the Sonic utilises the very latest ultrasonic technology. The result is a product which provides consumers with an affordable and reliable solution to keeping control of their heating oil and diesel.

The Watchman Sonic consists of a transmitter unit and a receiver unit.

The receiver unit can be quickly and easily fitted to most heating oil and diesel tanks and monitors the level of fuel inside. This data is transmitted wirelessly to the receiver unit which simply plugs into a standard electrical wall socket. The high power FM transmitter unit allows the receiver unit go be positioned up to 200 metres from the tank unit.

The receiver unit consists of a premium quality LCD display, which indicates the level of fuel remaining inside the tank via a series of parallel bars. And to reduce the risk of running out of fuel even further, should the level of fuel remaining inside the tank fall below 10%, - a nozzle symbol flashes to highlight the need to re-order fuel.

The Watchman Sonic is compatible with almost any plastic or steel tank up to three metres in height. The Sonic is now fitted as standard to all Talking Titan Single Skin Oil Tanks, Titan EcoSafe Bunded Oil Tanks and Titan Fuelmaster Bunded Diesel Storage Tanks. Indeed, despite only being recently launched, the Watchman Sonic is already fitted to more new tanks in the British Isles than any other electronic oil tank contents gauge system!
