TankDepot.co.uk accepts Maestro, Solo, Mastercard, Visa Credit, Visa Debit and Visa Electron. Your credit / debit card will be charged at time of order placement. In the interests of security, we only accept credit card information via our secure website and cannot accept credit card information by telephone, fax, e-mail or any other means. Please note that all credit card transactions are completed and verified on behalf of TankDepot.co.uk by Sagepay.
All products will be invoiced in United Kingdom Sterling [UK£/GBP] and all invoiced prices include United Kingdom Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate. A VAT Receipt will automatically be sent to the e-mail specified in your order.
Payment by Cheque
We can also accept payment by cheque. Simply print off a copy of the product you wish to order, write your name, address and telephone number on the back of the print out, enclose a cheque made payable to Derwent Weighing Limited and post to:

Once funds have cleared into our account, your order will be released and we will call you to confirm delivery arrangements. For your own security and peace of mind, we recommend that all cheques are sent only by registered mail.
Shipping and Delivery
All prices stated on TankDepot.co.uk include delivery to any mainland address in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Please note that we are currently unable to deliver to offshore addresses or to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, the Republic of Ireland or any address outside the British Isles.
After placing your order, you can choose to be advised of delivery arrangements by telephone. If selected, we will endeavour to confirm delivery arrangements, prior to despatch. Otherwise, you will receive a confirmatory e-mail within 2 working days of each item being despatched.
All standard items will normally be delivered within 10 working days from date of order, unless otherwise advised. All other orders should be delivered within a period of 28 working days.
In the event that an item is unavailable, it will be placed on ‘back order’ and delivered when it becomes available. You can choose to delete any ‘back order’ item(s) from your order, up to point of product despatch.
Smaller items (including most accessories and consumables) will normally be despatched by Royal Mail. Larger items (including all storage tanks) will normally be delivered by carrier.
Please note that for all items delivered by carrier, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate vehicular access and the provision of suitable offloading equipment, where required.
Installation Requirements
All products sold by TankDepot.co.uk must be installed in accordance with prevailing statutory requirements by a competent person and in accordance with manufacturer’s installation and maintenance instructions.
Additionally, all oil tanks and accessories, must be installed and maintained in accordance with the requirements of The Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC).
Where required, all electrical connections must be undertaken and periodically inspected by a qualified electrician.
We strongly recommend that you do not make arrangements for the installation of any products, until you have received your order. TankDepot.co.uk will not be responsible for any delayed installation charges incurred as a result of late product delivery.
Order Cancellation
In accordance with United Kingdom and European Union consumer law, you have seven days after receipt of order to cancel the order in its entirety or any part thereof, providing the goods are in a re-saleable condition. Should you wish to cancel any order, you must first contact TankDepot.co.uk for a ‘Returns Authorisation Number’. Please call 01332 834 141 or e-mail sales@tankdepot.co.uk
After the Returns Authorisation Number has been issued, we will make arrangements with you for the goods to be returned. If you wish TankDepot.co.uk to arrange for the uplift of the goods, a carriage charge will apply. This will not exceed 35% of the gross value of the goods. Alternatively, you can make your own arrangements to return the goods to us at your own expense.
Upon return of the cancelled goods to TankDepot.co.uk and verification that they are in a re-saleable condition, we will refund the value of the goods less any collection and administration charges within 28 days.
Defective Products
If you believe that products you have purchased from TankDepot.co.uk are defective, please report this immediately to TankDepot.co.uk by e-mailing sales@tankdepot.co.uk or calling us on 01332 834 141.
If they are within the manufacturer’s guarantee period, we will arrange with the manufacturer to replace or repair the goods at the manufacturer’s discretion and consistent with their guarantee.
Where it is necessary to inspect the goods on site and an inspection proves the fault is neither the fault of TankDepot.co.uk, nor the product manufacturer, an inspection charge will apply, which will be advised by the manufacturer prior to site inspection.
Please note that where guarantees are available in excess of those required by law, these are provided at the discretion of the product manufacturer and not TankDepot.co.uk. Additionally, TankDepot.co.uk will not be liable for any claims for consequential damage or loss.

TankDepot.co.uk does not disclose customer information to third parties for any activity other than for secure payment processing and verificationpurposes; and fulfilment / despatch of your order by parties acting on behalf of TankDepot.co.uk.
