Busy fortnight ahead for OFTEC and supporting Members
16th February 2007
There’s less than a fortnight to go until OFTEC and supporting members kick off their 2007 tour of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, with the first Oil Heating Show of 2007 set for Wednesday 28 February at the Kent Showground, Detling near Maidstone.
Separately, and this weekend OFTEC is attending The Self Build Show in Belfast’s King’s Hall – one of a number of similar events that it will be attending during the course of 2007. With over 200 Exhibitors in attendance, the Belfast Self Build Show is one of the largest events of its kind to be held anywhere in the UK, with visitors expected from across Northern Ireland, the UK Mainland and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland.
Already Northern Ireland has amongst the highest levels of oil heating anywhere in the United Kingdom, with 3 out of 4 homeowners, choosing to heat their homes with oil. OFTEC representatives however will be on hand to further promote the oil message and to discuss the very latest developments in oil fired heating and cooking.
Visitors will also be able to take away OFTEC's new range of free Easy Guides, which highlight everything from the latest building regulations to safe oil storage, presented in an easy to understand format. Additionally, a small number of manufacturers will be displaying equipment on the stand including Gerkros, Titan and Ulster based Warmflow Boilers.
Doors open at The King’s Hall at 12 Noon on Friday 16 February 2007 and close at 6pm on Sunday 18 February 2007.
