Dunraven Systems Limited, suppliers to TankDepot.co.uk of Apollo tank telemetry equipment, has won the prestigious 'Dundalk's Best High Growth SME' Award at the annual Louth County Business Awards held in the town's Fairways Hotel. This event was organised by the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce. The category award was sponsored by Louth County Enterprise Board and is open to businesses who have demonstrated strategic growth, innovation and entrepreneurship in this sector.
Gerry Jones, Managing Director of Dunraven Systems says, "We're delighted to win this award, which is a testimony to the hard work, effort and commitment of everyone at Dunraven, together with the loyalty of our customers. Since Dunraven was established, we've sought to provide quality, innovative and best in class solutions, backed by world-class levels of service and product support.
"During the past 12 months, we've continued to develop our business through the introduction of new products in response to customer demand and in anticipation of future market demands.
"New products include Apollo Smart - the world's first heating oil energy monitor - together with net broadband and GPS communication technologies for our Apollo RMS remote tank monitoring system. We'll shortly be launching a new range of storage tank alarms too, to help combat the growing menace of fuel theft."
Organised by Dundalk Chamber of Commerce, the awards recognise business excellence and success across the Irish county.
Strategically located on Ireland's eastern seaboard, just south of the border with Northern Ireland and half way between Belfast and Dublin, Dundalk is home to a number of significant businesses with an international footprint. These include Xerox Corporation, PayPal, Heinz, Daiwa and Diageo. Local businesses benefit from excellent road and rail links, a highly educated workforce and strong links with academia.
