FPS Expo, the UK's largest oil distribution industry event, is celebrating its 30th
anniversary in 2010 and it will once again provide a platform for
industry professionals to address the key issues facing their business
and the industry as a whole.
Taking place from 21-22 April 2010 at the Harrogate International Centre, FPS Expo 2010 is organised by the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers (FPS) and its 30th
anniversary year is already proving popular with over 80% of exhibition
space already booked. Visitors to the exhibition will see exhibitors
like tanker manufacturers MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd and Scania
alongside new exhibitors Cameron Forecourt, Nixon Jettas and Paul Reid
Consultants together with show regulars Alfons Haar, Central Welding,
The Environment Agency, Harlequin Oil Tanks, Mechtronic, OAMPS UK Ltd
and William Tanker Services to name but a few.
The recession and cost savings will no doubt dominate the agenda for
those attending the exhibition, but visitors will be able to see
various innovative features from industry renowned exhibitors
demonstrating the latest technological developments. There will also
be an exciting programme of free informative workshops covering current
legislation and legal issues. To end the event in style the FPS will
be hosting their annual Awards Dinner with industry awards presented to
The Driver of The Year, Young Employee of the Year and Depot of the
Year.
Speaking to OilFiredUp.com, Vanessa Cook, FPS Marketing and Events
Manager said "2010 is a special year for FPS EXPO as we are celebrating
30 years of success for the exhibition and we are set to expand and
build on our previous success. This year's show has over 60 confirmed
exhibitors; an unprecedented level of workshop content, as well as
100's of new products on display. The industry has really come out
fighting and despite the economic difficulties the event promises to be
a great success. We have focussed on expanding the visitor experience
and are confident that everyone will leave the event feeling completely
up-to-date with industry developments but most importantly, solutions that can be applied to their own businesses."
